Description

The starting point of the tour is in Dreverna, where you will accommodate. You will start the route from the boat trip to Juodkrante via the Curonian Lagoon. Upon arrival, you will visit the most beautiful and significant places of the settlement.

Firstly, you will take a walk to the Hill of Witches to see the wooden sculptures scattered in different locations on the hill. Next, you will visit Gintaras Bay, explore the landscapes of the old forest while on the educational dendrological trail, and learn about the archaeological wealth of the settlement of Juodkrantė.

Later, there will be a walk around the Villas quarter, making pictures at the monument to L. Rėza and visiting the cultural centre of his name. The tour will continue with a trip to the Museum of Miniatures, then walking to see the stone sculptures on the embankment of the lagoon and visiting the Juodkrantė Evangelical Lutheran Church reaching for the sky with its spire, as well as the Weathervane Gallery, where you will learn about a special system of signs.

The last stop is the largest and one of the oldest known colonies of grey herons and cormorants in Lithuania. After the day full of exciting experiences, the boat will carry you back to Dreverna.

The length of the route is about 5 hours.

The price includes services of a guide, accommodation in Dreverna (without breakfast), and travel by boat via Dreverna-Juodkrantė-Dreverna route.

The price does not include visits to paid tourist attractions and catering.
