Adult Atlantic salmons live in the sea and spawn in swirling rivers full of springs and in streams where juvenile salmons stay 2 to 3 years. Migration takes place in the cold rivers of the basin.
Have you ever seen those fish migrating to their spawning areas on Lithuanian rivers? Spawning of the fish of the salmon species begins (the active phase) in the last week of October and lasts to the first week of November.
We invite you to join us to observe this unique process together.
